TURBOATOM
PJSC “Turboatom” (Ukraine) is one of the largest international manufacturing plants of turbine equipment for thermal, hydro and nuclear power plants.
For more than 12 years KomplektEnergo and Turboatom are united by exclusive partner relations for manufacturing and delivery of power equipment and spare parts to it at the currently operating and under construction power generating units of Russian NPP. Joint activities of the companies are carried out under the partnership agreement.
KomplektEnergo had carried out deliveries of equipment manufactured by PJSC “Turboatom” to Smolensk NPP, Kalinin NPP, Rostov NPP, Balakovo NPP, Leningrad NPP, and Novovoronezh NPP, Kola NPP, Kursk NPP.
The turbines manufactured by PJSC “Turboatom” generate up to 90% of electricity at Russian NPPs.
Key contracts between KomplektEnergo and Turboatom:
- equipment manufacture and delivery for Rostov NPP power generating units No 3, 4 under construction;
- retrofitting of condensers at the operating NPP;
- designing and manufacture of steam turbine plant as per the SVBR-100 design.
In 2014 OJSC “KomplektEnergo” successfully met the entire scope of work under previously signed contracts for the supply of equipment manufactured by foreign partners. In cooperation with PJSC "Turboatom" we delivered to our customers:
modular condenser for turbogenerator K-1000-60/1500 for Unit 2 at Kalinin NPP;
check valves with actuator KOS-400 and KOS-800 for turbine K-1000-60/1500 of Unit 1 at Kalinin NPP;
turbine equipment of Unit 3 at Rostov NPP;
components for the modernization of turbines at Units 1, 2, 3, 4 at Balakovo NPP;
equipment for the modernization of capacitors of Unit 2 at Balakovo NPP;
spare parts for preventative maintenance for the majority of existing NPPs;
condenser for turbogenerator TA-13 of Unit 5 at Novovoronezh NPP.
During the last year, we also completed manufacture and supplied a condenser for Unit 4 of Balakovo NPP. As a result of the work performed, the turbine capacity will be increased by more than 5 MW and its service life will be extended.
Until the end of May this year, OJSC “KomplektEnergo” plans to ship and commission of two condensers for turbogenerator ТА-14 at Novovoronezh NPP (of Unit No. 5). The contracts for 2016 are also signed.
However, the key achievement in the framework of the partnership of KomplektEnergo and Turboatom in recent years is the complete fulfillment of the contract for the manufacture and supply of a steam turbine with capacity of 1100 MW with titanium condenser for Unit 4 under construction of the Rostov NPP. The equipment with total weight of about 5000 tons was shipped in batches in the period from 2013 to 2015 ahead of the delivery schedule. Currently, this complex and laborious work is close to completion.
